ALL ABOUT ATHENA

I am eight and a half years old.

When I was four years old, I did the zipline in the trees at Treesorts in Tikilma, Oregon. I was the youngest person ever to do that, except for the owner's nephew.

When I was five years old, we went to Niger, West Africa, and I turned six there.

We stayed for exactly ten months. First I went to school at a French school but then the teacher moved away and we got a new teacher and she was really mean so I went to the English school and I was in kindergarten there.

When I was six years old, we went to Loreto, Mexico. girl in sea kayak

On the beach I met an old man with a sea kayak. I borrowed his kayak to paddle out to sea to pick up a dirty Coca Cola bottle that someone threw into the water.

After we came home from Loreto, it was still winter in Ashland, Oregon (which is where we live). There was a lot of snow so my sister and my brother and my dad and I built an igloo and it was really fun. I drunk hot chocolate in the igloo, which was big enough for a grown up and two kids to sit inside.

In October 2008 I went to McCloud, California, with my mom because she was doing an article. It was very fun there, and it was a very small little town.

I went to a candy shop where there was tons and tons of candy and I got two bags full of it and I divided it up between my sister, my brother, and me.

This is a picture of me on the Mt Shasta Dinner Train with the conductor and he took off his hat and put it on my head so now I'm the conductor of the dinner train!

This is my bunny rabbit Peter and he's on a rock and we're hiking to the Upper Falls of the McCloud River.

I was a princess for 2008 Halloween. We walked in the parade downtown in Ashland, Oregon. Then we went home for dinner and then we went trick-or-treating. I had a basket one foot wide and a half a foot tall and it got overflowed with candy. My sister was a witch and my brother was a new superhero called Star Man.
